Privacy Policy

1. Overview
CashCo is built with your privacy in mind. We collect only what is necessary to provide the service and never sell your data to third parties.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address to create your account. Receipt data: Photos and text you submit for receipt scanning are processed to extract item names, prices, and purchase dates. This data is stored on our servers to power price monitoring. Usage data: We collect basic analytics (screens visited, features used) to improve the App. This data is anonymized.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: create and manage your account, track your Costco purchases within the 30-day adjustment window, send you push notifications about price drops, and improve the App.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the App (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics) under strict confidentiality agreements.
5. Push Notifications
If you grant notification permissions, we will send you alerts when price drops are found. You can disable notifications at any time in your iOS Settings.
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen in the App.
7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) to protect your data. Authentication tokens are stored securely in the iOS Keychain.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. You can also delete your account directly within the App.
